The "empty" of a blank sheet of paper refers to the physical level of the void; the "void" of an empty sheet of paper that I pass through the printer refers to the semantic level of the void. The underlying logic of repeatedly inputting and outputting "void" on the blank paper is to generate a loop of "0+0=0" at the conceptual level.
When the "void" paper is placed in the container with methanol, the thermal coating layer reacts and breaks away, and the paper becomes empty again, but it is different from the initial blank paper.

The mass of the whole work is the same as the weight of my body at that time. It is the fivefold conceptual scheme that many traditional Chinese fields used to explain a wide array of phenomena, from cosmic cycles to the interaction between internal organs. The “Five Phases” are Fire, Water, Wood, Metal or Gold, and Earth or Soil. Different substances are in the order of “mutual generation” and “mutual overcoming”.
This process of “mutual generation” and “mutual overcoming” seems to be moving toward harmony between substances. The duration was 139'11".
